Last week I shot some new pieces from the Spring Summer collection 💙 REVIVAL 💙 with the incredibly talented Greta van der Star and her equally talented husband Tim Flower who took a day out from his normally very busy DOP schedule to assist!
We shot just down the road from my house at the Calliope Sea Scout Den and in the surrounding boat yard. With some shots taken inside during the constant Spring showers we have been getting and then running outside into the very windy sun when it came out for some outdoor shots as well.
Our model was the lovely Leonie Beyer from 62 Management whose confidence, energy and self assurance translated beautifully into the images.
These pieces signify an awakening to a new season which I see as a time for a new take on the world, an opportunity to redirect our views & open our senses to the beauty that surrounds us, as it's not always easy to see.
There is no denying we are living in challenging times and often the only thing we do have any control over is our perspective and how we see things which is a gift but one we often lose sight of.
These styles have been made in beautiful fabrics, by beautiful & talented local makers to make you feel beautiful and to bring beauty into the world.
For these pieces I have made very limited numbers in an effort to conserve & continue which makes them all the more special, so support your local industry, support something made thoughtfully & carefully and REVIVE yourself at the same time.
